CHI è SALVO?-:-?

È una immagine comune dei profughi di oggi che fuggono dalla fame e dalle guerre sparse in giro per il mondo. Una madre con lo sguardo un po' perso che in questo momento cerca di calmare il figlio. Mentre Lei pensa dove andare verso la salvezza. La madre col figlio come Maria a Betelmme cercano salvezza. Dove trovano salvezza la portano perché la acquisiscono come consapevolezza; mentre chi offre accoglienza, salvezza la riceve perché chi è salvo offre la sua sicurezza. Accogliere non è un atto di debolezza, sottomissione. Solo chi è debole e vuol seminare panico può pensare di confondere il timore della conoscenza con la paura del ignorare negando l'accoglienza. Così una madre col bambino è metafora di Maria col figlio a sua volta metafora della chiesa, coi discepoli e non, a cui offre accoglienza, salvezza, protezione. La madre tiene in braccio il figlio e con le sue mani lo afferra e lo sostiene a sé. Il figlio è il futuro, un futuro da proteggere e un presente da crescere.
